How to make Moka Pot stovetop espresso coffee
Step One: |
Using clean cold water, fill the base of your Bialetti Moka pot up to the safety valve. |
Step Two: |
Insert the filter, then place one heaping teaspoon of coffee for every 5 ounces of water. |
Step Three: |
With the filter disk and gasket properly in place, screw the top portion of the pot onto the bottom section, tighten. |
Step Four: |
Place the pot on the stove, set to low heat. Coffee will begin to flow to the top of the pot. After 4-5 minutes, the coffee will begin to sputter. At this point remove the moka pot from the stove and serve your coffee. |
Step Five: |
Clean pot thoroughly with water and mild detergent. |
