Takes Illy capsules only
"I ordered four of these for their beautiful design. I stupidly didn’t fully read what this machine was about. Now I can’t return them. Ordering four all at once was also dumb on my part. This machine takes nothing but Illy capsules so you’re going to constantly be putting money out for each expensive cup of expresso. You will have to constantly order from Illy to get coffee. Commercial capsules won’t work, at least that’s what the lady said when I called. That’s why I said I was stupid to not examine all of this as I ordered. Also the on-line user manual isn’t clear...and it isn’t specific to the Y3.3 version. How to get started with the first cup of coffee isn’t obvious or clear. Younger adults won’t have a problem probably. I’m older and never used an expresso machine. I like clear directions. Just sayin...it’s so beautiful on the counter, but you’re going to keep ordering and ordering those capsules. Small companies are having a hard time now so I’m not contesting !st in Coffee about returning the four machines so I’m just eating my $400+"
