In 1994, the Capresso company was founded by Michael Kramm. Previously, Mr. Kramm served as President of Krups US operations.  Capresso was founded on a singular purpose: to bring to market the very best coffee makers and espresso machines.  At Krups, Mr. Kramm virtually created the high-end coffee maker market and was one of the first to bring quality espresso machines to the US market. More recently, Jura Capresso represents a partnership between the Swiss Jura manufacturing company and the American Capresso sales, marketing and service company.
