Compak K3 Touch Advanced refurb
"While my Baratza Vario and Sette 270 have provided yeoman service, I've long wanted a higher-quality commercial grinder. The Compak K3 provides enough of that to make me happy. Sure, it's Compak's entry-level grinder, and it's not a Niche Zero or super-duper Mahlkonig, but I'm happy. The build quality is superior, and the improvement in the sweetness of espresso in the cup is actually noticeable over my two Baratza grinders. It's even Spanish, which complements my Expobar Brewtus IVr. Yes, anyone can make lovely espresso without expensive equipment, but if you've headed down the Prosumer Espresso Geek road, this grinder might fill the bill. It does for me. For $400 as a Compak factory refurb, I'm as pleased as punch."
