Engineered to effortlessly handle a diverse range of medium workloads, the Quamar M80TP is an ideal grinder for home, office, or low to medium volume café settings. Boasting 63mm flat burrs and a high RPM, it excels at delivering a consistent grind in less time.

The M80TP (Touch Plus) model showcases a vibrant color touch screen display, intuitively designed for seamless operation. Its expansive menu gives users precise control over various grinder settings, including dosing options, time-based grinding in 0.05-second increments, and a dosing count section. Fine-tuning grind preferences is effortless thanks to the grinder’s microstep adjustments, easily managed via a user-friendly dial.

On Demand Controls

  • Simple touchscreen display: Very responsive and easy to understand. The display shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity to save energy.
  • Multiple dosing options: Single cup, double cup, & semi-automatic dosing. Easy to distinguish by their graphics and/or their color.
  • Time-based grinding: The single & double cup dosing options can be programmed by 0.05-second increments from 0.05 to 64 seconds. The display shows the grinding time once you start grinding.
  • Dosing count: The top number shows your current dosing count which can be reset. The bottom number shows the lifetime count which cannot be reset.

Grinding Burrs

  • Flat burrs: Larger size at 63 mm. The larger the size, the more of a grinding surface, resulting in faster production.
  • High RPM: Fast spinning rate at 1400 rpm. The higher the speed, the faster the production, which can increase efficiency and reduce wait times.
  • Micro-stepped adjustments: Multiple steps between each number. Easier to go back and forth between different settings from espresso to other coffee methods. The tab on the left side keeps the adjustment dial locked on its current position.
  • Adjustment dial: Clockwise for a coarser adjustment. Counterclockwise for a finer adjustment. A flathead screw helps prevent you from adjusting too fine to where the burrs touch.

Portafilter Fork

  • Ease of use: You can rest your portafilter while grinding for a complete hands-free operation. Accommodates most portafilters. The clearance from the fork to the coffee chute is approximately 3″.
  • Adjustable, removable: You can remove the fork to grind into a container. There is a Flathead screw that holds the fork in place. The clearance underneath the funnel is approximately 4.5″

Bean Hopper

  • Set screw: Secures the hopper to the grinder. Serves as a reminder for users from quickly removing the hopper if it is full of beans.
  • Fingerguard: Prevents users from “accidentally” putting their fingers in the grinding burrs. Also helps reduce the “popcorning” effect of the beans when grinding.
  • Stopper: A door near the bottom of the hopper can be pushed in to close the opening. This allows you to remove the hopper with beans inside so you can easily change the beans. There will be some beans already passed in the burrs which will have to be ground out first before removing the hopper.
