The best espresso maker there is.
"If you are willing to look at this machine in the same way you would a sports car that needs some tweaking and has a learning curve, than you should own it. I have had mine for almost 4 years. It has been upgraded with a stainless drip tray, a pressure gauge above the group head, a heat sink and temperature indicator on the group head among other things. I had to replace all the internal wiring last year. I have a matching La Pavoni grinder on a platform made for the two. It has taken me several years to really get to know this machine. However after making hundreds and hundreds of shots, I have learned to coax liquid gold from it. My wife and I have a cappuccino with a double shot every night after dinner and the quality of the espresso is critical to the flavor. I have never cared for any steam wand on any machine I have ever owned. The idea of blowing hot steam into milk to make foam makes no sense to me. I use a separate device that both heats and whips equal parts almond milk and half and half. The drinks are so far beyond anything I have ever had at any of the countless coffee shops over decades of buying over priced crap it is at this point hard to pay for one. Anyway this machine is not for everyone in fact it is for hardly anyone because it requires an immense amount of time and effort to make it capable of what so few if any other espresso makers are capable of. 5 stars for the serious espresso lover only."
