"I only tested it for the first time today. I found it easy to figure out (I never read instructions). I bought whole beans classic Italian roast coffee from Whole Foods. I am not sure if it is the coffee, but I found the fist cup to be bitter and a too strong. I just selected the regular coffee option from the so called "one touch" dial, so I don't think it should have been too strong. I probably have still a lot of figuring out to do. but overall it is doing what is expected and the coffee drink quality seems to be good - with the creamy appearance you get from quality machines."

Nice basic machine

"I have owned the Jura Micro 9 One Touch for about two months and have used it every day to make either regular coffee or espresso. I think the coffee/espresso is very good and very reproducible, although if you like strong flavored coffee as I do go straight to the finest grind setting. It has certainly met my expectations for convenience and flavorful coffee in a compact machine. The styling of the machine is more modern and it has a sort of rhomboid share rather than being a basic box. In my view it looks better on a counter under cabinets. But it should be pointed out that the water tank is on the back of the machine so you need to either be able to reach behind the machine to take off the tank for filling, which is what I do, or you need to be able to move the machine for filling. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase."

"After 1 month, I am very pleased with the Jura. It is consistent and easy to use. My only concern is the high cost of the water filters, and their relatively short lifespan. The milk frother has performed excellent, with no issues. Water tank is small, but it helps keep the water fresh. I would recommend it to a friend."

"Love this machine. Makes a great cup of coffee, espresso is just as great as my favorite coffee shop. Also fits in my little house - the form factor is much better than my previous. Only down side is the water tank is in the back which is a bit precarious because it sits under my cabinets so I have to slide it out to refill and the tank is small. Otherwise the grounds container is much better design than a previous machine I had. Definitely a great machine for people who love coffee and have limited space."
