"I am a huge fan of Illy Espresso Pods, Medium Roast. They're the flat round disks, which I believe are fully biodegradable (no plastic)(I believe this type pod is known as an E.S.E. pod). I used to look for less expensive pods and tried them all. Nothing compares for flavor, aroma and texture to the Illy pods. It's the only espresso pod I buy."

How long do these individually wrapped pods stay fresh? I found an unopened box of foil wrapped pods in a seldom used cabinet with the date 05/15 stamped on the back. Is that the expiration date?
I have never held them more than 6 months from purchase. You tell me if that's the expiration date!
