"This is the second Capresso espresso machine I have purchased here—the first one lasted for about two years this one lasted THREE MONTHS. I realize this is a very inexpensive espresso machine— I would’ve been happy with two years —three months is unacceptable. So disappointed. We use the ESE pods— There is not enough pressure in this machine to produce espresso, many times all we get is some frothy water."

After A Year Of Use.

"Please do not misinterpret my review. When I first bought this product it was perfect in everyway and gave me the most crema I have ever seen and the best tasting crema. I still like everything about this product except for two things. It just keeps getting louder and louder and louder. It wakes people up the vibration is so loud. Inside the portafilter the cheap metal they use to make it is becoming so nasty that it effects the taste of my espresso. Yes I have descaled an cleaned it. This is more of a cry for help to find a new portafilter to replace the cheap one that comes with the product. The noise is just the way it is with a cheap espresso maker. My older starbucks one is still the best and made with super high quality parts."

Love this EC100 Capresso machine

"We got the EC100 about 4 1/2 years ago and it has served us well. After trying out the different coffee beverages we could make, we settled on a daily routine of using the large sieve to fill one large 3” tall (3 1/4 wide) cup to make rich tasting coffee with amazing crema on top. I have had to order a replacement sieve after trying to use a grind that was too fine and tightly packed. I like the EC100’s dimensions and how it fits on our under cabinet countertop and I like the front facing power button and controls. Sadly, nothing lasts forever and the pump seems to be giving out (making a different sound and much slower extraction). I’m looking to buy the same model again after reviewing other similarly priced machines and other Capresso models."
