Ascaso Steel Uno Professional with PID
"I have used a manual lever machine for 31 years and longed for the control of a semi automatic PID machine. This Ascaso has been wonderful straight out of the box. The first shot was spot-on, thanks to the PID temperature control. As long as the basket is filled and tamped in a consistent way, the shots are spot-on. I look forward to waking up each morning and preparing coffees for the family. I only drink espresso, so the single boiler machine is ideal and affordable. If someone wants a milk based coffee, the extra 120 seconds to get up to steaming temperature and back is not a problem. I use my Ascaso machine in conjunction with a Rancillio Rocky doserless mill. I like the industrial look of the Ascaso Steel Uno Professional. For a domestic machine, I am very satisfied that this is the best value I could find. I like the fact that Ascaso have been manufacturing espresso machines for over 50 years, so spares and service will not be a problem. 1st in Coffee delivered the machine promptly and well packaged. I would highly recommend the Catalan machine and the US supplier."
