Fully Automatic Espresso & Coffee Brewing
Do you like to start your day with an espresso, but don’t want to have to clean up the mess? Just press the button and the Saeco Odea Giro will automatically grind your coffee beans, and dispense freshly brewed, rich and flavorful coffee into your cup. The Saeco Odea Giro espresso machines allow you to choose the volume and strength of your coffee or espresso by simply pressing buttons on the control panel. Then it cleans up and is ready for the next order in less than 30 seconds. Press the brew button once for a single espresso or coffee. Pushing the brew button twice quickly will put a double shot of espresso or coffee in your cup.

Utilize the enormous flexibility of this espresso machine’s programming options by varying the water volume up to 7 ounces and the ability to use up to 9 grams of ground coffee per brewing cycle. By experimenting with the water volume and grams of ground coffee you can fine-tune your coffee and easily program these parameters into the memory.

Ceramic Coffee Grinder
The ceramic coffee grinder is Saeco's most recent innovation. After careful research, Saeco finally chose this material to put an end to grinding with metal components. Indeed ceramic is inert, and thus ensures the best results without altering the flavor of coffee.

The new ceramic coffee grinder also provides a more even grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, and giving you more control over the density and body of your coffee. And that's not all: the amount of coffee residue left in the cup is sizably reduced. Long-lasting, minimum noise! Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee grinder will quietly go on grinding to the same high standard for a long time.

Hot Water Dispenser & Rapid-Steam® Technology
We’re all steamed up about Saeco's patented Rapid-Steam® system for their espresso machines! Turn the steam knob and have instant steam for cappuccinos or lattes. Other systems can have you waiting up to 45 seconds for the steam function to be ready but not with Rapid-Steam; you’ll have consistent steam for repeated drinks.

The special milk frothing tip delivers perfect foam every time for lattes or cappuccinos, even if you have never foamed milk before! The steam wand is located on the right front of the machine and it accommodates frothing pitchers up to 32 oz. If you need instant hot water for making tea, hot cocoa, or Americanos, the hot water feature is available at the press of a button.

Special Pre-infusion Brew System Cycle
Pre-infusion allows you to get maximum flavor from the brewing process. This advanced system takes the newly ground coffee beans from the internal coffee grinder and correctly tamps the coffee. Next comes “pre-infusion”. The grounds are pre-soaked and then brewed before being discarded automatically into the internal dump box. The machine then resets itself for the next brewing cycle. Pre-infusion can be set: on, off or long.

Built-in 50 Ounce Water Tank
The water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze.

Coffee Bean Storage Hopper & Internal Waste Box
Keeping 1/4 pound of beans fresh and ready for grinding is the built in, lidded coffee bean hopper. When the coffee grounds are spent, the machine delivers them to the internal dump box; which can hold up to 15 expended coffee portions. It’s easy to remove and clean.

Stainless Steel Heating System One of the reasons the Saeco Odea Giro is great for anything from small commercial settings to home or office use, is its durable 1200 watt stainless steel boiler. It provides for continuous use or a lot of servings over a short time period.

Heated Cup Stacking Surface There is a cup-stacking surface so you can keep your favorite espresso cups close by.

Operational Lights and Indicators The machine uses a system of lights and indicators to help you monitor the brewing process and signal when the machine needs to be re-supplied with water or coffee beans and when it needs to be cleaned.

Rolling Base
Being that the Saeco Odea Giro is a super automatic espresso machine it is a little too heavy to be picking up and moving around on your counter. Saeco took care of this by adding special rollers to the bottom of the machine. Getting into your espresso machine for cleaning and maintenance is important for the long life of your machine. The rolling base makes it easy to access all sides of your machine to remove the water tank and open the side service door.

Adjustable Drip Tray The machine has an adjustable height drip tray that raises or lowers the cups below the coffee dispensing spouts. By raising the drip tray either up or down, you can select the desired height depending on the height of your espresso cups or coffee mugs.

Sold Separately - Aqua Prima Water Filter Softer water for a more robust coffee. With Aqua Prima the number of flavor-altering substances found in water are reduced, and any micro-particles and impurities are filtered. So you can enjoy the improved flavor and full aroma of your coffee. Aqua Prima also reduces the formation of lime scale in the machine so that it lasts even longer.

Cleaning & Maintenance of Components
In order to keep the inside of your machine healthy; your machine must be cleaned periodically. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your water can build up on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler, which if left unchecked can cause considerable damage to the machine. By descaling your machine every two-three months, your machine will last for many trouble-free years. Saeco Descaling Solution can be purchased by calling the support number in your user guide.

Used coffee grounds are collected in the internal dump box, which can hold up to 15 spent portions of coffee before it requires emptying. Wastewater left over from the rinsing cycles is stored in a removable drip tray. When the indicator light illuminates, simply pull out the tray, empty and reinsert in seconds. All components such as the used grounds container, drip tray, and water tank can be hand washed with regular soap and water.
