Many people ask us to compare the Odea Go and the Saeco Odea Giro, The Odea Giro is similar, but has two features not found on the Odea Go: Saeco Rapid Steam and OptiDose. The Odea Giro is ready to steam milk immediately after brewing, the Odea Go requires about 20 seconds to adjust the temperature. In addition, the amount of coffee ground on the Odea Giro can be adjusted to between 7 and 10 grams, The Odea Go always grinds 7 grams of coffee.

Easy to use, the Saeco Odea Go will have you producing fabulous espressos, cappuccinos, mochas, lattes and all of your favorite coffee drinks with the touch of a finger. All this by just pressing a button? Absolutely! Just add your favorite coffee beans to the hopper and fresh water to the reservoir.

Start up begins with pressing the coffee button on the control panel. The automatic coffee grinder starts grinding and transfers the fresh ground coffee to the built-in brewing system where your coffee or espresso is brewed at the right temperature and volume, just like you selected it from the control panel. Ceramic Coffee Grinder

The ceramic grinder is Saeco's most recent innovation. After careful research, Saeco finally chose this material to put an end to grinding with metal components. Indeed ceramic is inert, and thus ensures the best results without altering the flavor of coffee.

The new ceramic grinder also provides a more even grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, and giving you more control over the density and body of your coffee. And that's not all: the amount of coffee residue left in the cup is sizably reduced. Long-lasting, minimum noise! Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee-grinder will quietly go on grinding to the same high standard for a long time.

Hot Water Dispenser

The special milk frothing tip delivers perfect foam every time for lattes or cappuccinos, even if you have never foamed milk before! The steam wand is located on the right front of the machine and it accommodates frothing pitchers up to 32 oz. If you need instant hot water for making tea, hot cocoa, or Americanos, the hot water feature is available at the press of a button.

Make Lattes, Cappuccino, and Café Mochas

The Odea Go is equipped with a steam wand and milk-frothing tip that insures loads of foam for lattes and cappuccino. You can also remove the frothing tip and use the standard steam wand if you prefer to have more control over the consistency of the foam. The steam wand is conveniently located and swivels to accommodate frothing pitchers ranging from 12 oz. to 20 oz. in size.

Within 35 seconds of turning on the steam knob, the Go will be steaming at full power, and continue to produce steam as long as the water tank is full thanks to its advanced continuous steam boiler.

Special Pre-infusion Brew System Cycle

Pre-infusion allows you to get maximum flavor from the brewing process. This advanced system takes the newly ground coffee beans from the internal coffee grinder and correctly tamps the coffee. Next comes “pre-infusion”. The grounds are pre-soaked and then brewed before being discarded automatically into the internal dump box. The machine then resets itself for the next brewing cycle.

Built-in 50 Ounce Water Tank

The water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze.

For Perfect Coffee Extraction - a Powerful Pump

Delivering a maximum pressure of 15 bars, this on board water pump pulls the maximum flavor from the coffee beans.

Coffee Bean Storage Hopper & Internal Waste Box

Keeping 1/4 pound of beans fresh and ready for grinding is the built in, lidded coffee bean hopper. When the coffee grounds are spent, the machine delivers them to the internal dump box; which can hold up to 15 expended coffee portions. It’s easy to remove and clean.

Stainless Steel Heating System

One of the reasons the Odea Go is great for anything from small commercial settings to home or office use, is its durable 1200 watt stainless steel boiler. It provides for continuous use or a lot of servings over a short time period.

Operational Lights and Indicators

The machine uses a system of lights and indicators to help you monitor the brewing process and signal when the machine needs to be re-supplied with water or coffee beans and when it needs to be cleaned.

Rolling Base

The Saeco Odea Go has a special roller base. Getting into your espresso machine for cleaning and maintenance is important for the long life of your machine. The rolling base makes it easy to access all sides of your machine to remove the water tank and open the side service door.

Adjustable Drip Tray

The machine has an adjustable height drip tray that raises or lowers the cups below the coffee dispensing spouts. By raising the drip tray either up or down, you can select the desired height depending on the height of your espresso cups or coffee mugs.

Aqua Prima Water Filter

Softer water for a more robust coffee. With Aqua Prima the number of flavor-altering substances found in water are reduced, and any micro-particles and impurities are filtered. So you can enjoy the improved flavor and full aroma of your coffee. Aqua Prima also reduces the formation of lime scale in the machine so that it lasts even longer.

Cleaning & Maintenance of Components

In order to keep the inside of your machine healthy; your machine must be cleaned periodically. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your water can build up on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler, which if left unchecked can cause considerable damage to the machine. By descaling your machine every two-three months, your machine will last for many trouble-free years. The machine will tell you when it’s time to activate the self-clean system when the light comes on. After adding our cleaner, just press the clean button. The machine will take it from there. Descaling and general cleaning is important even if you have a sophisticated water filter system, and especially if you use well water.

Used coffee grounds are collected in the internal dump box, which can hold up to 15 spent portions of coffee before it requires emptying. Wastewater left over from the rinsing cycles is stored in a removable drip tray. When the indicator light illuminates, simply pull out the tray, empty and reinsert in seconds. All components such as the used grounds container, drip tray, and water tank can be hand washed with regular soap and water.
