Fully Automatic Espresso & Coffee Brewing
Just press the button and the Saeco Italiano will automatically grind your coffee beans, and dispense freshly brewed, rich and flavorful coffee into your cup. The Saeco Italiano espresso machines allow you to choose the volume and strength of your coffee or espresso by simply pressing buttons on the control panel. Then it cleans up and is ready for the next drink in less than 30 seconds.

Ceramic Coffee Grinder
The ceramic coffee grinder is Saeco's most recent innovation. After careful research, Saeco finally chose this material to put an end to grinding with metal components. Indeed ceramic is inert, and thus ensures the best results without altering the flavor of coffee.

The new ceramic coffee grinder also provides a more even grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, and giving you more control over the density and body of your coffee. And that's not all: the amount of coffee residue left in the cup is sizably reduced. Long-lasting, minimum noise! Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee grinder will quietly go on grinding to the same high standard for a long time.

Hot Water Dispenser & Rapid-Steam® Technology
We’re all steamed up about Saeco's patented Rapid-Steam® system for their espresso machines! Turn the steam knob and have instant steam for cappuccinos or lattes. Other systems can have you waiting up to 45 seconds for the steam function to be ready but not with Rapid-Steam; you’ll have consistent steam for repeated drinks.

Special Pre-infusion Brew System Cycle
Pre-infusion allows you to get maximum flavor from the brewing process. This advanced system takes the newly ground coffee beans from the internal coffee grinder and correctly tamps the coffee. Next comes “pre-infusion”. The grounds are pre-soaked and then brewed before being discarded automatically into the internal dump box. The machine then resets itself for the next brewing cycle.

Built-in 57 Ounce Water Tank
The water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze.

For Perfect Coffee Extraction - a Powerful Pump
Delivering a maximum pressure of 15 bars, this on board water pump pulls the maximum flavor from the coffee beans.

Coffee Bean Storage Hopper & Internal Waste Box
Keeping 1/4 pound of beans fresh and ready for grinding is the built in, lidded coffee bean hopper. When the coffee grounds are spent, the machine delivers them to the internal dump box; which can hold up to 15 expended coffee portions. It’s easy to remove and clean.

Cleaning & Maintenance of Components
In order to keep the inside of your machine healthy; your machine must be cleaned periodically. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your water can build up on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler, which if left unchecked can cause considerable damage to the machine. By descaling your machine every two-three months, your machine will last for many trouble-free years. Used coffee grounds are collected in the internal dump box, which can hold up to 15 spent portions of coffee before it requires emptying. Wastewater left over from the rinsing cycles is stored in a removable drip tray. When the indicator light illuminates, simply pull out the tray, empty and reinsert in seconds. All components such as the used grounds container, drip tray, and water tank can be hand washed with regular soap and water.
