Shipping & Delivery

1st in Coffee offers free standard ground shipping in the lower 48 contiguous United States on all electric espresso machine and coffee maker orders. In addition, all orders in the contiguous 48 United States over $75, receive free shipping. We ship via United Parcel Service (UPS), Fedex or United States Postal Service (USPS). For orders outside the lower 48 contiguous United States, please call. If you would like to pay for a premium shipping service (overnight, 2nd Day) please call 800-709-8210 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Most orders ship within 24 to 48 hours after receipt of order.

We do not ship internationally.

Actual freight charges will be billed upon delivery on all La Pavoni & Rancilio commercial espresso machines.

Privacy & Security

In order to protect the privacy of its users, 1st in Coffee has adopted the following policy:

Your name, shipping and billing addresses, and credit card number(s) are used by 1st in Coffee in order to provide you with the goods that you purchase on the Web site. We use your e-mail address to provide you with information about your order and its status, and we may occasionally send e-mails, including newsletters, to people who have placed an order online, offering them more great deals.

Your phone number is used by 1st in Coffee only in the event that our customer service representatives need to contact you about an order you have placed.

1st in Coffee does not sell or rent to third parties any personal information obtained through our Web site. While many items are shipped directly from the manufacturer, we instruct these companies to keep your personal information private.

Returns & Replacements

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any machine you purchase from 1st in Coffee, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund. Returned items must be in like new condition, with all original parts, accessories, manuals, etc., and must be re-packaged in the original retail display box. If any of these items are missing, you will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee. To return an item, you must contact us via phone or e-mail within 30 days of purchase to obtain a Return Authorization Number. You must ship returns via a courier that provides tracking, and provide 1st in Coffee with the tracking number. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning merchandise to us. If a returned item is lost or destroyed in transit, your account will not be credited for the return, and you will be responsible for obtaining reimbursement from the courier. Therefore we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from the courier for returned items. Coffee can not be returned. Premium shipping (next day, 2nd day, etc) charges are non-refundable. Machines purchased for restaurant use excluded.

Purchases made Between Nov. 10th and Christmas may be returned through January 25th.

Defective Merchandise

If you suspect the merchandise to be defective upon delivery and initial use, please contact 1st in Coffee so that we can attempt to resolve the issue. If we determine the merchandise is defective, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number. You will then be asked to either ship the product to us or we can arrange to have it picked up.

Merchandise that becomes defective after 30 days is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. 1st in Coffee will not replace defective merchandise after 30 days. Therefore, please register your product with the manufacturer and retain the manufacturer’s warranty instructions.

Mfg. Warranties

All machines come with a one year manufacturer warranty on parts and labor, unless otherwise noted. Shipping costs to the repair facility, for defective merchandise is the customers responsibility. New Jura Capresso Super Automatic machines have a 2 year or 6000 drink manufacturers warranty. No warranty covers problems arising from failure to maintain the equipment. Nor does the warranty cover problems arising from miss-use, modification or failure to follow operating instructions

Ordering

1st in Coffee has a user friendly purchasing system for on-line orders. Customers can choose to make purchases by creating a Registration Profile, which will make future purchases easy or Checkout as Guest for those quick purchases. Registering will create that “fast check out” and allow for access to order history and status.

Pricing

The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in U.S. dollars

Sales Tax

Sales tax of 6.625% will be charged to items shipped to the state of New Jersey. No sales tax for shipments delivered outside of NJ.

Promotions

1st in Coffee does try to offer Specials and Discounts to our loyal customers. These Specials and Discounts are offered through our Monthly E-blasts and on Facebook. Please join us by Opt-in on the Newsletter and Friend us on Facebook. Discount Codes will be given that you may use at Checkout for discounts on prices or shipping.
